Jasmine Smith for Wide Bay
I am a passionate Aussie who has spent her entire life in regional Qld. An old school “knockabout”, I can relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
I have worked in retail management, as a disability carer, a concrete truck driver, and currently as a delivery driver for a small local bakery. I have completed a tertiary prep course and plans to study nursing in the future.
I believe that the family, underpinned by Christian values, is the keystone of our society and that everyone is entitled to the dignity of a decent job.
Like many Queenslanders I am concerned that immigration from third world countries is out of control and must be stopped. I believe that if our Federal politicians cared as much about our farmers, pensioners and war veterans as they do about multiculturalism and diversity we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in.
